Want to learn how? For over 3 years now, I’ve been using credit card points to pay for the majority of my trips instead of spending thousands on airplane tickets and accommodations- and in this episode, I’m going to teach you how!

RAW REVELATIONS: TRAVEL INFLUENCING PITFALLS, REFLECTING ON INSTA PERSONAS & MY NEW PROMISES TO YOU
Since I was 17, I’ve idolized travel influencers. Specifically, the influencers you see on Instagram in those jaw dropping locations that you didn’t even know existed, clad in stunning clothing, on what seems to be the most amazing trip of their lives. For years I created content mimicking this, trying to create the same effect-but guess what? Some changes are underway. On this episode, I discuss some recent revelations I had while creating content in Italy and I make a new promise to you, with the hopes of shining a light on carefully curated content and it’s affects.

Hiiiiiiii! My name is Rachael Steck. While most call me Rach, Rachy, or Chelly, I'm better known as one of Connecticut's descriptive day dreamers, sunset chasers, and international travelers. My number one goal in life is to ensure everyone understands how accessible and enriching travel is which is why I've started this blog! I am so so passionate when it comes to inspiring others to experience what this miraculous world has to offer, documenting my travels, and giving credit to the areas I've visited. Come on over to my about us page to learn a little more about me :)
I'm currently 24 years old! My birthday is in late September.
The first international destination I went to was either Canada or Costa Rica. To be honest with you, I don't remember which came first! I think it was Canada to visit Niagra Falls with my dad's side of the family when I was in my teens.
The first destination I went to WITHOUT any "adults" or "parents" was a 10-day trip to Scotland and Iceland with my brother Ryan and friends Sam and Alexa. We went in January of 2018.
Yes! I have a twin brother named Ryan and before you ask, yes, we are very close. While we don't go on every single trip together, he goes where I go majority of the time when traveling.
We also have a younger sister who is only a couple years younger than us, and a little brother.
Sometimes! He is an occasion guest, but for the most part I either do solo episodes where I give travel advice, or I have guests on. He's a great guest though.
I am currently releasing an episode on Spotify and Apple Podcasts every single Wednesday. By the end of 2023, I'm hoping to release two a week: one solo episode, and one with a guest.
No worries- you can still listen without an account by clicking the links here to Spotify or Apple Podcasts. If you would listen to listen on a different platform, feel free to DM me on Instagram @thetravelingtwinpodcast or to contact me through my website and let me know which platform you listen on!
I switch on and off every single week so one week I'll do a solo episode and the next I do a guest, and it switches every single week like that.
You can follow my podcast on either Spotify or Apple Podcasts, rate it, and follow my podcast's Instagram account. If you're really loving the podcast, feel free to DM me on Instagram as well :)
